In 1901, part-time Anarchist Leon Czolgosz decided the only way to express his fandom for an Emma Goldman essay was by assassinating President William McKinely at the Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo, NY. McKinley was shot in the Temple of Music, dying several days later on the 14th. The nation wept.

100 years later, P22, along with the TTSCC’s own The Disappointments, both decided to commemorate this event with special releases. The Leon Czolgosz Shot Glass comes with a brief overview of Czolgosz and the events of that day. Impress your friends with your knowledge of Polish-American Presidential Assassins before “eyeballing” your next vodka gimlet!

Music enthusiasts should also note that P22’s McKinley obsession spawned the Buffalo-centric Temple of Music CD compilation in 1996, featuring Copper, girlpope, milf, and more.
