Loneliness is not the same thing as being alone. Loneliness is not the same thing as Project. Where Project is chaotic and claustrophobic, Loneliness is calm and empty. A dark and broiling soundwash. A trumpet echoes across the empty space. Crowd noise bubbles. A band plays. Another band plays. Someone shoots jfk. And on. And on. An intricate molding of sounds that manages to actually evoke feelings of loneliness and melancholy from the listener. On the B is its companion the Loneliness remix, this time accentuating the crowds and throwing more distance between jfk and jfk. A surprise ending as well.
